The Marquisate of Reifenwald (Trcht: Reifenwaldisks Mark) was a semi-independent Marquisate within the Second Shining Empire established after the Imperial Invasion of Orngard. Formally established for the purpose of cleansing heathen worshippers of Vinhema and restoring continental obedience to The Myriad, the early years of the Marquisate saw the cultural and religious assimilation of large portions of the local population, consisting near-entirely of Velm People.
Reifenwald would rule over the territories conquered by Imperial intervention for fifty-one years, before the unification of the Realm of Velmir saw an attempt to reclaim the region during the Invasion of Reifenwald.
