The Astringent Order of Brothers Lay, (Vln: L’Astringent) (Trc: Die Astringente), were a group of monster hunters and mercenaries living in Central Wudor, with the express goal of helping the local populace recover from the damage dealt by the Onyx King’s War.
Specializing in hunting and killing fiends and undead, the Astringent routinely provided support and advice to local nobility and rulers on both sides of the Second Ettish War in order to prevent the growth of ghoul hordes common in the immediate aftermath of the Obscene Rite.
